Principal's Message

Here at Gibbons School, we continuously work on important virtue characteristics for our students, and this year we have focused on resiliency. There is much research to support the idea of raising resilient children, teaching them the tools they need to respond to the challenges of childhood and to develop these skills into adulthood. Resiliency is much more than simply dealing with conflict; it focuses on the skills necessary to deal with many situations we all encounter. These skills are: Competence, Confidence, Connection, Character, Contribution and Coping.
