Power School Parent Portal
Have you ever asked your child how they did on that big test or project and got an evasive "fine" as a response? Now you can check things out for by going to the Parent Portal. You can access your child's marks and attendance by clicking the link http://pschool.sturgeon.ab.ca . You should have received a login name and password in the mail. If you have not please contact your child's school.

CUPE Drive, "The Bare Necessities"
We are collecting creams/lotions, toilet paper, shampoo, kleenex, toothpaste, etc.  All items stay in your community.  Help is needed all year long!  Please send items to the school.
GRAMPS
'Gibbons Registered Association of Music Parents', will be holding their general meeting on Monday, Februay 27th @ 6:00 pm in the staff room.  All parents with students in the band program are encouraged to attend.
Parent Meeting
We are hosting an important parent meeting on Monday, February 27th @ 7:00 pm, to talk about our upcoming grade six one-to-one laptop project that starts September 1, 2012.  This meeting is really important for current grade five parents, but is open to all parents.  Please come and get information on an exciting learning opportunity for our students!
Gibbons School Council
On Monday, February 27th @ 8:00 pm, Gibbons School Council is holding their Parent Council Meeting in the staff room.  All parents are encouraged to attend, as this is an excellent way to become involved at Gibbons School.
Gibbons Playground Project
We are currently soliciting donations for the Elementary playground and the junior high outdoor fitness area.
